With the aim of boosting its presence on the global stage and delving into the promising landscape of the US energy market, WattAnyWhere, a pioneering force in clean energy solutions, has enthusiastically embraced the Climate Collider Program – 2024 Spring Edition.
This edition of the startup exchange program, powered by Swissnex and Innosuisse, brought together a cohort of five Swiss energy startups to Boston and Houston. Here, these startups united to engage with their American counterparts, share perspectives and knowledge, and delve into diverse strategies for energy innovation throughout the US.
WattAnyWhere
addresses the challenge of accessing power grid energy, a task fraught with
extensive time and investment, with its innovative off-grid fuel-cell system.
Developed in close collaboration with world-wide academic and industrial
partners, the system harnesses renewable ethanol—a safe and economical liquid
hydrogen carrier—and converts it into high-power, clean electricity, all while
remaining entirely pollutant-free. With a steadfast vision to establish energy
autonomy across various sectors including supermarkets, gas stations, data
centers, hospitals, residential campuses, buildings, and more, WattAnyWhere
emerges as a pioneer in the quest for energy independence. Furthermore, by
significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, WattAnyWhere’s solution not
only meets the urgent need for sustainable energy but also contributes to a
healthier and more environmentally friendly future.
One of the
paramount highlights of this endeavor in the US was the opportunity to meet
with investors, a pivotal moment where WattAnyWhere showcased its innovative
solutions to a sharp-eyed audience. This encounter not only facilitated
